Passing by these amazing 3D paintings will make you almost believe that there are real people standing by the wall. The paintings are made in such a way that you would probably try to touch the girl that’s leaning on the wall or maybe the old lady that’s resting, because they seem so realistic. The most surprising thing is that the artist is only using his bare hands and painting to make such tremendous art happen.
You will never think that these human bodies and faces aren’t real, amazing realistic and shocking sculptures.

Cool. It would be creepy at night though…

The artist should make a life-sized Godzilla in Tokyo.
Chris R says
I think they are awesome. I prefer abstract art though
Wiki says
Beautiful work but I am fairly certain that is a brush in his hand in the top image. Would be nice to give credit to the artist as well.
Clark says
Not only highly realistic but beautiful portraits in every way.
What kind of nonsense is posting these to your blog without even mentioning the artists name? I'd sure like to know.
John massengill says
I don't want to speculate about the explanation of using bare hands though to me it means not air brushing. the artwork is truly touching and realistic.

Who is the artist?
Logan says
Look at the first picture, in the lower right corner, right next to the artist, there’s a typical Banksy rat painted on the wall. Coincidence?
Blog Header Guy says
I'm surprised the artist isn't mentioned even still. Maybe a tribute to Bansky.
Mitchell says
David Jon Kassan – a Brooklyn artist of the Hyper-realism school

Why spend the time to give props and not mention a name or any relevant information…journalism, who, what, when, where and why…gheez
Zachary says
I would have like this a lot better if there wasn’t a pop up advertisement blocking the artist.
Bahamabob says
Photographers are artists, too, to the comment above; different medium. A snapshot cannot get the scale-sorry. You would need a large format view camera I expect to get that and still there is something in the atmosphere of these paintings. After all, we are only looking at photos of these works!!
I call them stunning as I see them here, especially comparing him to peers who are not catching all that he is giving. Thanks for posting, and I would love to know his name.

Like seriously the shadows are there for everyone to see !!! Dnt tell me hes painted the shadows as well which makes the wall 3 dimensional !! sort of !! Well I think its fake. No artist mentioned, no credit given to any person, place etc !!
monalisa says
SPECTACULAR WOW! Can’t believe but its real.
Paint says
The artist is David Jon Kassan, and he drew the shadows to make it look 3d. I dont get why people are even checking a link called “ultra realistic paintins” if they will call it fake just because it’s too realistic..
