The Twittersphere has developed a new Thursday tradition: bashing NBC’s abhorrent new sitcom “Whitney” until it draws blood. Since each and every tweet trashing “Whitney” is 800-1,000 times more amusing than anything that has ever appeared on the trauma-inducing sitcom, we thought we’d feature some of our favorites:

Yes, even Whitney Cummings herself has bashed the show. If you were hoping that “Whitney” might be cancelled sometime soon, I have bad news. Whitney’s contract is for a full season, so odds are very strongly against NBC pulling the plug before the season ends. Well, I suppose that’s actually good news for masochists.
