This posters of Hollywood movies are hand drawn by Russian movie companies in smaller cities.Try to find poster for “Shallow Hal” with Gwyneth Paltrow, Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant in “Two Weeks Notice”, “Bridget Jones’s Diary” and the lady is Renée Zellweger“, “Just Married” with Ashton Kutcher and Brittany Murphy…
… “Scooby Doo” (that was easy) “Freaky Friday” withe faces of Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan” , “Spy Kids 3-D” and “50 First Dates” with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler , you must also also how pop stars from Eastern Europe pimped their album covers in the 70’s.
What is the one next to Freaky Friday?
In Russia, poster draws you!
that's not true. i've been in Russia and never seen those posters. And i've been in small villages too. Actually it's a nice country to visit. Too bad that is too cold.
I’ve never seen such posters in Russia. The21st century came to this country also. 😉
It’s funny, but looks stupid.
Maybe I just don’t understand it, and it’s creativity. 🙂
Tiffany, it’s “Two Weeks Notice”.
it was the same in Hungary until the 90's.
Yes, It’s true!!! I’m from Russia, and I’v seen it! In small cities you can find funny posters like those. It’s really funny!
I’m actually living in such small city in Russia, where we have just one cinema. This cimena is showing now such BlockBusters like Terminator II, Rambo First Blood or Robocop…
I can make a picture of 1000 posters like this)
I like how Chris acts like seeing these posters in Russia would make it a terrible country.
Are they hand drawn by 6 year olds? jeez, some of these are really bad.
Love that Scooby Doo poster.
Enlightening this is hard to find. This is a great article.
These are not the best I’ve seen. But as they are from small villages… Actually there was (or still is) a theatre in Riga, Latvia that still did this and the work was better done. Don’t know if they still draw them because Hollywood companies don’t like this trend… They’d rather see their original posters on walls
Definitely NOT freaky friday. That is Ashton Kutcher and Brittany Murphy in Just Married.
The second one is Shallow Hal.
Then I’m not sure of the third and fourth one.
But after that it’s Just Married, Spy kids, and 50 first dates.
